Although possibly a nod to boxer-turned-bluesman Champion Jack Dupree’s “Big Leg Emma,” Phish fans will know this as Frank Zappa’s song from two notorious bootleg records, as well as the posthumous Läther, and originally as a seven-inch single released simultaneously with Absolutely Free in 1967. As far as the sporadic availability of early recordings allows us to know, this song was only played six times, three of which circulate among fans (5/3/85, 5/21/88, and 6/19/88).
