The Cat Stevens ballad “Sad Lisa” was the first of three cover-song collaborations with guest stars that closed Phish’s set on the second day of the 1998 Bridge School benefit. Following “Brian and Robert,” Sarah McLachlan joined the band to perform this duet with Trey. Following "Sad Lisa" Neil Young joined Phish and McLachlan for Ian Tyson’s “Four Strong Winds” and Bob Dylan’s “I Shall Be Released.” Despite some deft and delicate acoustic playing by Trey and Page in this version, “Sad Lisa” has not resurfaced in Phish’s repertoire.
